Welcome to Learn to Draw, a beginner-friendly art class designed to help you unlock your creativity and build confidence with a pencil in hand. Drawing is not about being “naturally talented” it’s about learning to see the world in new ways and translating what you observe onto paper.

In this course, you’ll explore the basics of line, shape, shading, and perspective through fun, hands-on exercises that encourage curiosity rather than perfection.

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the very first time or returning to art after a break, this class will give you the tools and techniques to start drawing with freedom and enjoyment.

What to expect?

Our instructor Pilar Mehlis, will demonstrate and help you develop the fundamentals to drawing.

This eight-week course includes time-tested methods of learning to draw. Students will come to understand drawing processes in a step by step manner and gain confidence through specific skill building exercises.

Students will practice the block-in measured drawing and rendering by breaking down concepts. There will also be introductory exercises to help understand the progression of these techniques to realize a well conceptualized drawing.
